How to Copy and Paste an Email

It only takes three steps. Choose whether you're on a computer or a phone and follow along.

The easiest way: just forward it

You can skip copying entirely. Forward the suspicious email to check@inboxshepherd.com and we'll email you back with our answer.

On a computer

  1. Highlight the message: Press and hold the left mouse button at the start of the message, then drag across all the words until they turn blue.
  2. Copy: Right-click the blue words and choose "Copy" — or hold Ctrl and press C.
  3. Paste into Inbox Shepherd: Click our big text box, right-click and choose "Paste" — or hold Ctrl and press V. Then press Check.

On a phone or tablet

  1. Press and hold a word in the message for two seconds until it's highlighted. Drag the dots to cover the whole message.
  2. Tap "Copy" in the menu that appears above the highlighted words.
  3. Paste into Inbox Shepherd: Tap our big text box, hold for two seconds, then tap "Paste". Press Check.
